888-hp Audi R8 (or R888) from MTM
Audi R8 is not only appealing to drivers, but also to tuners and since the Germans like to modify cars – and they are pretty good at it, you should know this one is coming from MTM, those crazy guys that built the Audi TT Bimoto twin-engine with 780hp. They built it for a European customer and presented their tuned Audi R8 at the Dubai Motor Show. Here is what we found out on it:
- a 4.2 liter engine with a turbocharger system that sports 888-hp
- 610lb-ft-torque
- R-tronic transmission
- does 0 – 60mph in 3 seconds
- is electronically limited at 223mph (360 km/h)
If you can afford it, I don’t think MTM will decline your offer to change your R8 into an R888 for รข‚¬280,000. By the way, great wheels, don’t you think?
